菏泽，中国牡丹之都，古称曹州，位于山东省西南部，鲁苏豫皖四省交界地带，总面积12239平方千米，下辖2个市辖区、7个县。菏泽历史悠久，享有“天下之中”之誉。截至2021年末，菏泽市共有常住人口873.24万人。

Heze, China’s capital of peony, was called Caozhou in ancient times. Located in the southwest of Shandong Province, Heze borders Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui provinces. It has a total area of 12239 square kilometers and governs 2 municipal districts and 7 counties. Heze has a long history and enjoys the reputation of "thecenter of the world". By the end of 2021, there are 8.7324 million residents in Heze.
